About Lekha Wireless
Lekha Wireless is a Technology solutions company providing end-to-end solutions in wireless communications and embedded systems. We are based out of Bangalore, the silicon valley of India.
With a humble start of 2 engineers in 2010, Lekha has registered constant growth over years, with a team of 60+ engineers. We are proud to be part of Deloitte India Fast 50 Technology for two consecutive years. The primary businesses are expert consultation, Intellectual Property licensing turnkey solutions and products. There are 2 streams of products-data link and test and measurement.
The team expertise spans across Hard Ware design, Software design Firmware on FPGA and DSP. We develop physical layer protocols, DSP algorithms and network protocol layers in house. We are highly motivated work force with top talent and domain experts from the industry. Lekha wireless has built several communication systems over years which have been realized from idea to design, design to prototype and prototype to production.
Our customer list includes startups to industry leaders, government and defense laboratories. Geographically we have our customers spreading across India, USA, Israel, Japan and UK.
Our Lab facilities
Today we have capabilities covering all necessary skills to build a communication system product spanning across Hardware and Software under one roof. We have designed PCBs with less than 0.4 mil pitch and with processor clocking higher than 1.2GHz. Some of our designs are in field trails and few we have already taken for production.
We have designed both base band and radio hardware using FPGAs, ARM processors and DSP based System on Chip devices.
Our radio designs have used advanced wideband radio transceivers from Analog Devices and Maxim with frequency ranging from HF band to 6GHz band. Sophisticated radio lab includes signal generators analyzers and channel emulators.
We have in-house prototyping capability to build proto quantities up to 100 numbers. We have consulting mechanical designers for enclosures
to meet compliance requirements. Multiple EMS eco system partners for taking prototypes to mass production.
About our experience
Most of us have seen multiple product cycles of a wireless system from design to deployment. We started with adapting the standard wave forms to the needs of industrial automation and defense networks. We got exposed to challenges of defense networks when we started trials with the research laboratories. Our systems and engineering are able to tweak our algorithms and designs to mature our data links for various deployment conditions. Lekha today working with researchers and engineers to integrate the data links to various applications like smart grid, UGV/UAV, robotics, video surveillance, hand held or man pack radios etc. With all the efforts and matured solution we are confident to tell our customers “leave the wireless connectivity part to us and we will fit the data link to your overall system”.
Standard Wave Forms
One of the key strengths @ Lekha is to translate any communication system specification to deployable real system. Lekha has fully integrated stacks developed over Software Defined Radio platforms based on DSP and FPGA SoCs and a wide band radio. Today we license
a) LTE PHY and Protocol stack MS.
b) LTE PHY stack for BS
c) End to end stacks for WiMax MS and BS.
d) RTL stack on Zynq platform for DVB-T and DVB-SH.
The LTE protocol stack is 3GPP compliant and ready for certification.

Innovation is an integral part of our research and design process.
We have designed and integrated smart and optimal algorithms into our prototypes and product solutions for next generation networks; software defined radio and secure communication links.
Our solutions address connectivity, cellular and defense markets covering LTE & LTE-A, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Small cells & Massive MIMO, Cognitive radio, Backhaul, IOT, Spread spectrum and other proprietary communication systems.
We have filed multiple patents in the LTE and Small cell domain and have published in reputed conferences in the areas of Small cells, Massive MIMO, Heterogeneous networks, Synchronization to name a few. We actively participate in standardization and collaborate with top notch research and academic institutes, which include Bell Labs, INRIA, DRDO, CRL, IITs and IISc, researching and innovating on problems impacting the design and realization of next generation networks.
We follow agile development process many of our internal projects. There are several case studies where we have followed much stringent development and quality process to meet the customer demands for eg, Six Sigma, Inverse V model, DO254 and LEAN.
We have dedicates system test who are experts in radio conformance and protocol conformance. The system test has vast experience of supporting the several network roll outs are specialized in connecting the customer requirement to delivered products.
