The Ministry of Defence signed a contract with Force Motors Limited on March 27 for the supply of 2,978 Gurkha Light Strike Vehicles (LSVs). These vehicles are specifically designed to meet the operational requirements of both the Indian Army and the Indian Air Force, demonstrating Force Motors’ expertise in delivering mission-ready, high-performance vehicles for demanding defence environments.

This strategic move supports the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative, enhancing domestic defence manufacturing and promoting technological advancements.
