French Army Chief Discusses Collaboration With COAS

The French Army Chief arrived in New Delhi on 27th February for a three-day bilateral visit to India. General Pierre Schill interacted with Indian Army Chief General Manoj Pande on expanding military cooperation with the Indian Army. 

 

He began his visit by attending the National War Memorial to pay homage to the fallen heroes of the Indian Armed Forces. He was also given a ceremonial Guard of Honour by the Indian Army. 

 

General Schill met other high-ranking military officials to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation on matters of defence, security, and technology between the two countries. 

 

He will also visit the Sapta Shakti Command in Jaipur to interact with the Indian military officers and attend a Pinaka firing demonstration in Rajasthan. 

 

The visit is expected to underscore the strong bilateral cooperation between France and India in maintaining regional stability and ensuring international security.
