Often referred to as the “Ironman of Racket Sports,” Racketlon is a demanding sport that combines Table Tennis, Badminton, Squash, and Lawn Tennis, testing players’ all-around proficiency and endurance.
Brigadier Narain secured the Runner-Up position in this prestigious international competition, held at the Willingdon Sports Club, Mumbai, from November 29 to December 1. He competed in both the Singles and Doubles categories and showcased extraordinary skill, determination, and versatility, making a mark on the global stage.
The officer’s journey in Racketlon has been one of consistent triumph. Just last month, in October 2024, he claimed the titles in the Over-50 Singles and Doubles categories at the All India Racketlon Championship, also held at the Willingdon Sports Club. His Runner-Up finish at the international level builds on this legacy, reflecting his relentless pursuit of excellence and ability to excel under pressure.
Brigadier Narain’s remarkable sports career began with squash, where he represented India at the Asian Squash Championship in 2000.
