UAE Govt Pushes Carbine Deal Under Make in India Scheme

In a response to the Indian government’s recent decision of cancelling deal of battle carbines from the UAE based company Caracal, the Emirates’ government has offered to manufacture assault rifles locally in favour of ‘Make in India’ initiative. Resorting to diplomatic channels, the UAE government has also assured India about the full technology transfer for the production of nearly 95,000 carbines to the Indian Army. Read More…
