The Republican-controlled U.S. Senate on Thursday confirmed Kash Patel as director of the FBI, putting a loyal defender of President Donald Trump and a frequent critic of the bureau atop the most prominent U.S. law enforcement agency.
Patel, an Indian PIO, born into an immigrant Gujrati family is said to have been brought up quite rooted in Indian ways and Hindu faith. He had favoured the construction of the Ram temple.
The Director FBI is an extremely sensitive and important appointment. Patel has always been a die-hard supporter of President Trump, and being a PIO, does give a flavour of Trump’s cabinet being inclusive.
