Zen Technologies USA unveiled a suite of next-generation simulation and training systems at the Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) 2025 in Orlando, Florida, highlighting advanced live, virtual, and AI-enabled solutions aimed at enhancing warfighter readiness for U.S. and allied forces.

The Hyderabad-based defence technology firm’s display at Booth #1611 features an integrated portfolio of Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) and Training-as-a-Service (TaaS) capabilities designed to reduce operational training costs, improve mission preparedness, and shorten readiness cycles. The company is pitching modularity and scalability as key differentiators, allowing units to field capabilities rapidly without complex infrastructure or long procurement timelines.

Ashok Atluri, Chairman and Managing Director of Zen Technologies, said the solutions on display reflect lessons learned from real-world deployments. “Our training systems are not conceptual prototypes—they are proven in operational environments, including with Indian forces countering live threats,” Atluri said. “This feedback loop enables us to develop and iterate new capabilities in weeks rather than years. With the pace of global threats outstripping traditional acquisition cycles, militaries need training systems that deliver measurable readiness gains at significantly lower cost.”

Zen claims that some of its systems can reduce training expenditures by up to 80 per cent while improving combat preparedness and enabling force multiplication across domains.

Key Systems on Display

• Tactical Engagement & Armour Combat Live Training

A live, force-on-force combat training suite supporting soldier, crew, and platform-level engagements with realistic ballistic effects and scalability up to brigade strength.

• Containerised Modular Firing Ranges

A rapidly deployable live-fire range offering AI-driven after-action reviews, safety analytics, and smart target systems. The platform is available under a TaaS model for units seeking minimal infrastructure overhead.

• Tank Simulation Suite

A modular armoured vehicle training package covering mobility, driving, gunnery alignment, and collective training through Zen’s Futuristic Integration Solution Training (FIST).

• AR-Based Stinger / MANPADS Simulator

An air defence training tool integrating augmented reality and live drone replication for next-generation SHORAD and MANPADS operations.

• Counter-UAS Simulation Solution

A high-fidelity simulation environment supporting operators of Zen’s operationally deployed Counter-Unmanned Aircraft System, designed to train detection and neutralisation workflows.

• Naval & Maritime Simulation Suite

A suite comprising a bridge, fast attack craft, cyber warfare, and a VR-enabled submarine periscope trainer, all driven by AI-based scenario generation and control.

With its 2025 I/ITSEC line-up, Zen Technologies is positioning itself as a competitive supplier in the U.S. defence training ecosystem, leveraging operationally validated products and rapid prototyping cycles to address emerging training demands across land and maritime domains.
