Advanced Landing Ground at Walong was inaugurated by Air Marshal C Hari Kumar , Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief Eastern Air Command, Indian Air Force on 23 Oct 15. Air Vice Marshal Manavendra Singh, Senior Officer-in-Charge Administration along with Senior Army Commanders attended the ceremony. Walong ALG was operational during 1962 Chinese aggression.
