Building on the outcomes from the previous TSTCC held in Shimla, this year’s conference assessed progress and explored ways to optimize joint training facilities. Key discussions centred on aligning training approaches with the evolving geo-strategic environment, developing future doctrines, and incorporating innovative strategies in modern warfare tactics and technologies.
The TSTCC, organized annually by the Training Commands of the three services, serves as a vital platform for fostering inter-service collaboration and sharing best practices. Over the years, the conference has strengthened joint training initiatives, enabling the services to coordinate effectively for unified responses to future challenges.
The conference also marked General Chauhan’s inaugural visit to the Southern Naval Command. During his visit, he met with Vice Admiral V. Srinivas, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, and discussed various aspects of tri-service collaboration in training. He was briefed on the Southern Naval Command’s role, operations, and capabilities and later addressed officers, sharing his vision and expectations for integrated training and operational cohesion across the services.
