Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) Air Chief Marshal AP Singh has emphasized the urgent need for rapid capability enhancements to counter emerging security challenges in an evolving geo-strategic landscape. Addressing student officers from the Indian Armed Forces at the Defence Services Staff College (DSSC), Wellington, he underscored the importance of adapting to changing threats and fostering operational synergy among the three Services.

During his visit to DSSC on March 11-12, the Air Chief urged officers undergoing the 80th Staff Course to embrace change and critically assess evolving security dynamics. He called for a forward-looking approach to designing adaptive strategies for future conflicts and highlighted the role of integrated training in strengthening combat effectiveness.

Speaking on the Indian Air Force’s (IAF) modernization and operational focus, Air Chief Marshal Singh provided insights into ongoing capability development initiatives and the growing importance of unified operations in modern warfare.
