The Indian Air Force (IAF) will participate in Exercise INIOCHOS-25, a high-intensity multinational air combat drill hosted by the Hellenic Air Force. The exercise will be held at Andravida Air Base, Greece, from March 31 to April 11.

The IAF contingent will include Su-30 MKI fighter jets, supported by IL-78 aerial refuelling aircraft and C-17 Globemaster III strategic airlifters, ensuring extended operational reach and logistical support.

INIOCHOS, held biennially, brings together air and surface assets from 15 nations, offering a dynamic platform to simulate complex air combat scenarios. The exercise enables participating air forces to refine mission planning, tactical execution, and interoperability, fostering enhanced military cooperation.

“This exercise provides the IAF with an opportunity to train in joint air operations, sharpen combat strategies in contested environments, and exchange best practices with global counterparts,” the Air Force stated.

With all operations conducted from Andravida Air Base, the IAF’s participation will bolster its operational readiness and contribute to multinational collaboration in modern air warfare. The IAF emphasized that India’s involvement in INIOCHOS-25 reflects its commitment to global defence partnerships and strategic cooperation with allied nations.
