L&T has been granted industrial licenses for a wide range of defense products ranging from warships & submarines; weapon platforms & launchers for missiles, rockets & torpedoes; field & air defense guns and anti- tank weapon systems; associated systems & subsystems for Radar & Sonar; armored and combat vehicles to airborne assemblies, systems and equipment for aircraft, helicopters and UAV, etc.
L&T has been partnering with several foreign OEMS like Nexter, Samsung, Elbit Systems for various artillery programs. It already has a joint venture with Airbus Defence and Space for radar programs.
