The festival features an impressive exhibition of cutting-edge military equipment, martial arts display, precision performances by military bands, high-adrenaline combat demonstrations by special forces, and thrilling displays such as motorcycle stunts and a dog show.

Spectacular Military Displays

The exhibition showcases premier defence assets, including the T-90 Bhishma Main Battle Tank, the indigenously developed K-9 Vajra self-propelled artillery gun, BMP infantry combat vehicles, and the Weapon Locating Radar (WLR) Swathi. The Indian Air Force (IAF) staged an awe-inspiring flypast featuring three Su-30MKI fighter jets, two AN-32 transport aircraft, and Chetak helicopters. The IAF’s elite Akash Ganga skydiving team performed a high-altitude combat freefall from 8,000 feet, leaving spectators spellbound.

Indian Navy personnel engaged with visitors, offering insights into the Navy’s three-dimensional warfare capabilities while motivating young minds to join the service. The Navy Band delivered captivating performances, reinforcing the spirit of jointness among the Armed Forces. Adding a solemn touch to the event, a memorial honouring the sacrifices of India’s brave soldiers was unveiled at the venue.

A dedicated exhibition area featured static displays from the IAF and the Navy, including models of aircraft carriers, submarines, and destroyers. The highlight of the exhibition was its tribute to the valour and courage of India’s fallen heroes, aiming to instil a sense of pride and respect among the attendees.

The event was graced by distinguished dignitaries, including Governor of Bihar Arif Mohammed Khan, Member of Parliament and Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Defence Radha Mohan Singh, Army Commander Central Command Lt Gen Anindya Sengupta, and senior officials from the Armed Forces and government. The presence of students from various schools and colleges, NCC cadets, and citizens from across Bihar further added to the patriotic fervour of the occasion.

Promoting Aatmanirbhar Bharat & Career Opportunities

A significant focus of the event was on Aatmanirbhar Bharat (Self-reliant India), highlighting India’s self-reliant defence capabilities with indigenous tanks, artillery guns, and advanced military technology. Informative kiosks and interactive sessions provided valuable insights into the latest advancements in defence technology.

Adding to the event’s impact, the Directorate of Resettlement organised a Job Fair for veterans, offering networking opportunities and support for transitioning into second careers.
