Anti-Terror Squad Seizes 7 Kg “Highly Radioactive” Uranium, Arrests 2 Who Tried To Sell It

The Maharashtra Anti-Terror Squad or ATS has seized over 7 kg of natural uranium worth about ₹ 21.30 crore and arrested two persons in this connection, an official said today. The substance is “highly radioactive and dangerous to human life”, the ATS official said quoting a report of an analysis conducted by the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre or BARC. Read More…
