The Army Martial Arts Routine showcased the Indian troops’ expertise in hand-to-hand combat, while Rock Craft Training provided soldiers with the skills necessary for operating in rugged, mountainous terrains—an essential capability for counter-terrorist missions.
Special Heliborne Operations offered critical training in rapid deployment techniques, where troops were inserted into potentially hostile environments via helicopters for swift operations.
The army statement stated that a demonstration of weapons and equipment was also carried out, emphasizing weapon handling and tactical firing positions. The drills aim to foster operational coordination and prepare the forces for close-quarter combat and other high-stakes scenarios.
As the SCO Meeting in Islamabad approaches, both India and Kazakhstan are eager to demonstrate their dedication to regional stability and security. This joint exercise highlights their preparedness to collaborate in addressing shared security challenges in an increasingly volatile geopolitical landscape.
