Kalyani Bags ₹250 Crore Order For Underwater Systems From Defence Ministry

The Indian Ministry of Defence has awarded Kalyani Strategic Systems Ltd. (KSSL) contracts valued at more than ₹250 Crore for the supply of underwater systems. The contract, signed on 10th November 2025, stipulates delivery within a year, by November 2026, in line with Fast Track procurement norms.

KSSL, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bharat Forge Limited, has steadily built capabilities in the design, development, and production of unmanned marine systems over the past five years. The company has already supplied autonomous underwater vehicles that are in service with the Indian Navy. The underwater domain remains a key focus area for Kalyani Strategic Systems Ltd, alongside naval guns and marine equipment. The company is ramping up its capabilities to align closely with the Indian Navy’s urgent and mission-critical requirements, reaffirming its commitment to ensuring the timely delivery of advanced solutions.
