A very incisive overview giving out the inherent flaws in the CPEC for Pakistan. One wonders what could be the reason for going ahead with this project where Pakistan is likely to impact its sovereignty.

An apt artical written with good factuals. CPEC, a road visualised to prosperity by our belligerent neighbour seems a road of shifting prosperity to China. A debt trap for Pakistan which sooner than later will be fuel for political and civic unrest in the country

Haha. And a general of the Hindoostani army is the most reliable person for protection of Pakistan’s interests? This article is nothing but a demonstration of the utter state of despair which afflicts Hindoostan at the moment. The CPEC is a master stroke which strengthens Pakistan and China, while Hindoostan remains befuddled by its own ineptitude.

Sino-Pak relations have witnessed three prominent shifts. First, resolving their boundary dispute. This confirmed their desire to collide against India. Second, sharing nuclear technologies. This confirmed Chinese commitment to Pakistan in standing up against India. Third, providing Gwadar as a base to China. In exchange China will prevent Pakistan from imploding. Or so feel the Pakis.

Wonder why Pakistan is so determined for self destruction?…….Beats all logic. However, China breathing down India’s neck does not augur well for India as well. In Indian context, for Pakistan it seems to be a classic case of “I am destined to drown but I will take you down too”.
