Zen Technologies, India's leading counter-UAS technology and defence training solutions provider

Hyderabad-based defence technology firm Zen Technologies has been awarded the highest credit rating of 5A1 by Dun & Bradstreet, underscoring the company’s strong financial position and operational credibility.

The rating, based on the company’s audited financial statements for the year ending March 31, 2025, was assessed under D&B’s globally recognised Impact Report framework. Within the rating structure, the ‘5A’ category reflects the highest level of tangible net worth among rated entities, while the composite appraisal score of 1’ indicates the strongest level of overall creditworthiness. This assessment factors in financial health, trade references, management track record, legal standing and the absence of adverse listings.

Commenting on the development, Ashok Atluri, Chairman and Managing Director of Zen Technologies, said the recognition serves as an independent validation of the company’s financial discipline and operational strength. He added that the rating enhances the firm’s credibility with international defence procurement agencies, global partners and investors as it expands into new markets.

The recognition comes at a time when Zen Technologies is scaling operations across three focus areas: defence training simulators, Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS), and autonomous defence platforms. The company currently has a consolidated order book of more than Rs 1,400 crore and a portfolio of over 200 patents. Its clientele includes the Indian Armed Forces and several overseas defence organisations.

The top-tier rating is also expected to support the company’s push into international markets, including outreach to defence customers in NATO member countries, while reinforcing its position within India’s defence indigenisation drive under the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative.
