The 16th edition of Aero India, Asia’s major aerospace and defence exhibition, will be held at Air Force Station Yelahanka in Bengaluru from February 8 to 12, 2027, the Defence Ministry said on Wednesday.
Organised by the Department of Defence Production, the five-day event is expected to bring together global aerospace and defence companies, policymakers, armed forces, technology firms, start-ups and other industry stakeholders.
The exhibition will feature aerospace and defence products, technology demonstrations and business engagements, besides aerial displays by the Indian Air Force and participating international flying teams.
The Ministry said the event will provide opportunities for industry-to-industry and government-to-industry interactions, technology partnerships and international cooperation, with a focus on strengthening India’s defence industrial ecosystem and expanding its role in global aerospace and defence supply chains.
Online registration for exhibitors and booking of exhibition space will begin on September 3 through the official Aero India 2027 portal www.aeroindia.gov.in.
The Ministry said the event is also expected to support the government’s Atmanirbhar Bharat push by increasing participation of Indian defence companies, including MSMEs and start-ups, and creating opportunities for partnerships, investment, exports and technology collaboration.
Aero India has traditionally served as a major platform for showcasing India’s indigenous aerospace and defence capabilities and for forging international defence and industrial partnerships.
