Admiral Dinesh K. Tripathi, Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), has commenced a four-day official visit to Indonesia as part of ongoing efforts to deepen defence cooperation between the two nations today. This visit aligns with the evolving Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between India and Indonesia, with a particular emphasis on enhancing naval collaboration and fostering maritime security in the Indo-Pacific region.
During the visit, Admiral Tripathi is scheduled to hold high-level discussions with key Indonesian government and defence leaders, including the Defence Minister of Indonesia, Lieutenant General Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin (Retd); General Agus Subiyanto, Commander of the Indonesian Armed Forces; and Admiral Muhammad Ali, Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Navy.
