he Kargil war (1999) was fought in the icy heights of Kargil & Drass by Indian Army and Indian AirForce. This was the first televised war for us Indians and the awareness about the role played by young officers in uprooting the entrenched Pak Army is well written and spoken of. In this episode we shall endeavour to bring forth the role played by the Indian Navy during the war and how it was a deciding factor in Pak accepting the defeat and abandoning the occupied posts. Captain DK Sharma (Retd) our Defence Analyst in conversation with Commodore Venugopal (Retd.) bring out some facts and actions by the silent service during the campaign.
