France to Monitor Qatar Airspace During FIFA World Cup 2022

As part of a defense agreement between the two countries, France will help Qatar secure its airspace during the 2022 World Cup. The Emirate is set to host the international men’s football championship between November 21 and December 18, 2022.

The French armed forces will provide the host nation with an “Advise and Assist”, sending both personnel and material to the Qatari territory, according to a report from the French Parliament Foreign Affairs Committee. Read More…
