In the run-up to Aero India 2025, scheduled to take off on February 10th, the Ministry of Defence has announced significant upgrades at Air Force Station Yelahanka, Bengaluru. This year’s edition promises to be the largest, most visitor-friendly, and technologically advanced aerospace exhibition in its history, the Ministry claims. The statement reads that from infrastructure enhancements to multi-layered security measures, organizers are leaving no stone unturned to ensure a world-class experience for exhibitors, visitors, and delegates alike.
Digital Connectivity and Innovation
Acknowledging past connectivity concerns, temporary mobile towers and network boosters will ensure uninterrupted communication. A dedicated Aero India 2025 mobile app will provide real-time updates, navigation support, and event schedules.
The event also emphasizes fostering innovation, with a special focus on startups and MSMEs showcasing indigenous technologies. A series of B2B and G2B meetings, roundtable discussions, and collaborative initiatives will position Aero India as a hub for global aerospace innovation.
Airspace and Demonstrations
The IAF, in partnership with AAI and HAL, has structured a dedicated airspace management plan to ensure safety during aerial displays. Key measures include temporary flight restrictions, strategic aircraft parking, and refuelling plans domestic and international for participants.
Aero India 2025 is set to incorporate eco-friendly practices aimed at minimizing environmental impact. To reduce pollution, vehicular movement throughout the event will be significantly reduced. Additionally, over 100 electric carts will be deployed for internal mobility, ensuring a cleaner mode of transportation for attendees. The initiative also includes comprehensive waste management systems focusing on segregation and recycling efforts, promoting sustainability at the event.
