At Gwadar floating liquefied natural gas facility ,with a capacity of 500 million cubic feet of LNG/ per day is planned to be built as part of the $2.5 billion Gwadar-Nawabshah segment of the Iran–Pakistan gas pipeline.Presently, this is stalled due to US sanctions on Iran.

China has upped the ante for India with development of its string of pearls .

In QUADs , India hasn’t till now gone along with its narrative of being focused on China and to stymie it on high seas from S China Sea to the east coast of Africa. Its time India too now actively participated in QUADs and strengthened its Navy and long range surveillance, communication and weapon systems , on an emergent urgency, to contribute ably to the cause of QUADs. This will give confidence to many in S and SE Asia for whom the rising Chinese dominance , the waning influence of US , are all upsetting the balance of their stance in international relations and many are falling prey to the predatory nature of Chinese debt under the garb of modernisation and increased trade.
As the author has rightly said, India has to take on the lead and leadership of challenging China in South and SE Asia, on the strenght of being an Economic and Military power of reckoning in the world.
its time India rebooted, rose and challenged China.
