Brigadier Sunil G Gokhale has served in diverse theatres, in a variety of command, instructional and staff appointments.
An avid reader of military history and a keen follower of developments in military technology, he has held a research chair in the University of Pune, his topic of research was, “the strategy the nation needs to adopt to attain the capability to design, develop, and manufacture its weapon requirements indigenously”.
