The ASRAAM is considered one of the world’s most advanced CCMs, featuring a sophisticated infrared seeker and a large rocket motor that provides unmatched speed and manoeuvrability. Its ability to engage targets at high off-boresight angles and its resistance to countermeasures make it an invaluable addition to the IAF’s arsenal.
