The India-Mongolia Joint Military Exercise, Nomadic Elephant 2024, concluded with a remarkable closing ceremony at the Joint Training Node in Umroi, Meghalaya. Maj Gen Ganbyamba Sunrev, Chief of General Staff of the Mongolian Armed Forces, and Lt Gen Zubin A Minwalla, GOC of the Trishakti Corps, discussed future joint operations, highlighting the end of the 16th edition exercise and the commencement of new collaborative efforts. It emphasizes the deepened ties and mutual respect built during the 14 days of training, reinforcing their commitment to fostering partnerships in regional security.
The Indian contingent’s display of cutting-edge weapons and equipment was a showcase of technological advancements and a testament to India’s growing defence potential under the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative.
