As India sets its sights towards becoming self-reliant in defence, with an aim to also make weapons for the world, both public and private firms are stepping up to realise this vision. Adani Defence is one such key player.
The conglomerate is now manufacturing ammunition at its high-tech Artificial Intelligence driven 500 acre plant near Kanpur built at a cost of Rs 3,000 crore.
The firm places very high importance to quality control and has world class testing facilities that ensure that only the best reaches the men and women guarding us.
Besides ammunition, Adani Defence is making or planning to manufacture small arms, drones, counter-drone systems, missiles, loitering munitions and artillery ammunition to name a few.
The firm is also planning to nurture an ecosystem for advanced defence systems in the country.
