Air power and Air Defence (AD) turned out to be the most decisive instruments of war in Operation Sindoor. The use of precision weapons, long range standoff capabilities and careful targeting won India not just a military but also a political victory.
Indians undertook air strikes in waves, with each one of them directed at a distinct category of targets, like the terrorist headquarters and then military establishments.
